UK’s leading out-of-home media owner, Admedia, today revealed that Lancashire’s Alfa Travel have won the Local Campaign Award for the month of May. The award was credited for Alfa Travel’s Motorway Service Area Direct Response campaign.
Admedia, runs the monthly Local Campaign Award to credit advertisers on exceptional media planning and campaign execution. Five finalist campaigns are chosen for each month from every campaign that runs within the month, before votes are cast by the public to determine the winner. All monthly winners are then in the running for Admedia’s annual Local Campaign Award in December.
Alfa Travel’s campaign gained recognition for the use of Admedia’s A3 Washroom Panel & Direct Response Slip advertising solutions at key Motorway Service Areas. A competitive advantage was achieved by strategically targeting Motorway Service Areas that are specific stopping points for major UK coach company tours.
The Direct Response Slips included a 10% discount code for Alfa Travel’s holiday breaks to entice potential customers during the lead up to summer. Lee Collett, from Alfa Travel comments:
