Apprentices go Coaching

Boardroom drama has returned to our screens for a tenth series with BBC viewers treated to a double dose of The Apprentice in its first week.

According to a BBC trailer, in next week’s episode, candidates will be given the task to create a coach tour around Canterbury and Oxfordshire.

Lord Sugar and his advisors, Nick Hewer and Karren Brady are putting a fresh group of candidates through tough business tests proving their skills in sales, creativity, leadership, strategy and business insight. There are twists and tough challenges from the start with 20 potential business partners competing for his investment.

In next Wednesday’s (5th November) programme, Lord Sugar gives the teams two days to create their own coach tours, “persuading punters to part with their cash and take day trips to top tourist attractions outside London”.  One team will make a visit to Oxfordshire and the other makes a pilgrimage to Canterbury.

Other challenging tasks during this series include designing a technology product, creating an online video channel and securing and fulfilling orders for a home fragrance range.
