Bodrhyddan Hall The home of Lord Langford and his family

Bodrhyddan is a Grade 1 listed 17th century building with 19th century additions by the famous architect, Nesfield, although traces of an even earlier building exist.

The house has been the home of the same family since it was originally built over 500 years ago. There are notable pieces of armour, paintings, period furniture and a 3000 year old Egyptian mummy.

The gardens include extensive lawns and a topiary, a parterre and the recently restored Pleasance. The House is open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday between 2pm and 5.30pm from June to September inclusive.   Teas are available.  We will open at other times by appointment for parties of over 25 people.

We are also licensed to hold civil ceremonies and our gardens are available for a marquee reception. Coaches are welcome, but by appointment only.

The annual Nurseryman’s Rare and Unusual Plant Fayre will be held this year on Sunday 14th June from 10am onwards.
