Christmas shopping is covered at Fleetwood and Poulton markets who are looking forward to welcoming visitors from near and far over the festive period.
In addition to the Christmas opening hours they will also be welcoming a very special visitor at Fleetwood Market as he takes up residence in his grotto on selected dates in December. Children can bring their Christmas wish lists and hand them to Father Christmas between 10am and 4.30pm on 5, 12, 19, 22 and 24 December (cost £2 per child).
Fun will hit Fleetwood Market between the 5th and 24th December when visitors are encouraged to help Santa find his lost elves and reindeer. Santa’s sneaky helpers will hide themselves amongst the stalls at Fleetwood Market – there are 32 elves and 8 reindeer to find. Visitors wanting to take part can collect their “finding form” near the gazebo in the main hall and start searching.
You can be a super seeker and search for all 32 elves or you can choose to search for 8 elves by picking the shorter form. The reindeer are very shy and have hidden themselves very well…..only the very best seekers will find all 8. The Market will give you one little hint, the reindeer are only in the main hall. Remember, you have from 9am on Saturday 5 December to 2pm on Thursday 24 December to find them all and help Santa. This is a free event although donations to Fleetwood Market’s Children in Need Appeal will be gratefully received.
All the traders and market staff from Fleetwood and Poulton Markets would like to thank you for your custom and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
