With discounted rates and many refreshment options available, a warm welcome awaits coach and organised groups of at least 15 people at The Kent & East Sussex Railway.
Group rates are available for single or return train travel between Tenterden, Northiam and Bodiam stations, and your seating is reserved at no extra charge. One Coach Driver may travel free of charge and, where refreshments are booked for the group, the Railway will also provide them with a snack- free of charge.
Advance booking is necessary for all group packages. This provides you, the customer, with the peace of mind in knowing that your booking is made, seating reserved and that the Railways team will be prepared for your visit.
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance of payment and final confirmed numbers no less than 14 days prior to the date of travel.

Coffee and Pastry
Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious Danish Pastry, served at your table as you steam through the delightful Rother Valley. £4.95 per person
Cream Tea
Two delicious warm Fruit Scones, Butter, Strawberry Preserve and Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream, followed by a little cake…… Served at your table with tea or coffee. £6.95 per person.
Ploughman’s Lunch
A traditional Ham & Cheddar Ploughman’s Lunch featuring local produce. Vegetarian & Vegan options available. Served with tea or coffee. £8.50 per person.
Kids’ Munch Bag
Combine the excitement of a trip on a steam train with one of our K&ESR Kids’ Activity Munch Bags: they’re packed with a selection of scrummy food and drink. £4.50 Child
