Welcome to Greenlands Farm Village. A fabulous destination for everyone and a place where you could spend half an hour or half a day…
Here you’ll find the lovely Wellies cafe & bistro nestled in our fabulous artisan shopping village, converted from the old farm house & barns.
Historically, the cafe at Greenlands Farm was a watermill until 1720 & became a sheep barn in 1975. It’s a place not just to enjoy wonderful food but to thoroughly explore. If you look carefully upstairs you’ll notice our swallow hide, prints of our own farm animals adorning the walls, outdoor herb garden to delight your senses & wood burning oven to warm you up on a cold day. When the weather is fine take advantage of our delightful garden with tables and parasols to let you enjoy eating al fresco.
Elsewhere in the village is our Farm Shop, which was originally a milking shippon with a hay loft but now the shippon is full of local meats & cheeses, wines & champagnes, local cakes, jams & chutney and in our hay loft you’ll find local crafts, gifts, homeware, cards, books & much more. Other shops include Balthazar – blended oils & skincare specialists, Woodcrest Garden Centre and Macmillan Clare Goldsmiths. Take your time, have a browse and chat with our friendly staff.
Our shopping village is free to enter and if you would like a guided tour of our Open Farm or perhaps a talk about the origins and conversion of the village, then group discounts will apply. Please contact us for details and information.
