Launching this week with the new-look ‘Complete Travel Planner’, tour wholesaler ICT presents its 2018-2019 tour programme to coach operators attending the Birmingham’s British Tourism & Travel Show
The annual brochure is filled with exciting new product and new destinations for the coach touring market, going deeper into Europe than ever before.
‘Marvel Summer of Superheroes’ at Disneyland® Paris makes a big splash with extended season running until at least March 2019. Visitors to the resort can meet and greet a range of superheroes including Spiderman, Thor and Captain America. As a preferred wholesaler for group bookings, ICT can package dream Disney breaks to suit any market from budget to high end groups. Indeed, the recently opened Villages Nature now features as an ideal group base for those looking for something extra, lying just 6km from the resort. The 259-hectare village boasts fairytale forests, lakeside promenade and glorious gardens plus an Aqualagon focal point – sure to be a hit with families.
A whole new flavour has been added to European touring with opportunities to go truffle hunting in Croatia, olive oil tasting in Italy, berry picking in Denmark and oyster experimenting in France – a chance for coach groups to really get to know their chosen locality. There is also a diverse range of destinations from the Nordic delights of Sweden’s Smaland and Gothenburg’s archipelago, the trappings and trains of the Pyrenees, the renaissance of beautiful Bordeaux and coastal cool of Croatia’s resorts and island retreats – Opatija and Krk.
ICT’s extended range of river cruising explores the Austrian-Hungarian empire route along the Danube with stops including Romania and Serbia. Venice also makes a tempting appearance, as does the cleverly timed Amsterdam starter-product which coincides with Keukenhof, spring flower event.
Managing Director, Peter Stratton said “With a mixture of new, carefully thought out products and the old favourites we’ve come to know clients like best, our latest annual brochure promises to have something to suit all tastes within the coach touring market”.
In the UK, ICT roll out further day experiences including a quirky Oxford Porridge & Tea, where afternoon tea is served in a converted prison, now boutique hotel. Windsor also makes a great choice as an ‘afternoon tea’ break with enviable setting adjacent to the Castle, sure to be a popular spot with the Royal Wedding approaching.
