Robert Ripley and the curse of the Devil’s Diamond

This November Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London wind the clock back to the 1940’s and set out to solve the mystery surrounding Robert Ripley and the curse of the Devil’s Diamond.

In 1949, Robert Ripley made his final discovery, known solely as “the Devil’s Diamond” – a large flawless stone that carried a reputed curse, killing anyone who came into direct contact with it. A dangerous discovery, but one that if successful, would be Robert Ripley’s ‘Piece de Resistance’ and cement his legacy as the most awe-inspiring explorer the world had ever seen. Yet, tragically Robert Ripley died of a heart attack just a week later before the priceless diamond could be unveiled to the world. Now, for the first time since his death, the infamous diamond is being showcased at his London attraction.

Join us for a night of suspense, intrigue and curious happenings as we listen to key witness accounts and discover clues surrounding the circumstances of his passing, where you will soon discover there may be more to the so-called ‘curse’ than first thought…

On arrival, guests will be provided with a detective handbook to take note of evidence, alibis and suspect motives revealed during the evening. All guests will also be issued with their own ration book, filled with food stamps and drinks tokens for use throughout the night.
