The Southampton Christmas Festival is organised by WELA Märkte for the third time in the main shopping area at Above Bar Street near the Bargate. Once more the emphasis is on top quality arts and crafts and food stalls with European food.
HIGHLIGHT:
The main attraction at Southampton will be the twice-daily show of the Flying Santa, with a world champion tightrope artist carrying on a family tradition of 300 years in high-wire artistry. He will fly over the market in his sleigh with his reindeer at a height of 35m and at the end will hand out a small present to each child. This unique show is the only one in the UK and is sure to be a show-stopper.
The market stalls are also unique for a Christmas Market as each one was individually-designed inside and out by a set designer to enhance the Christmas spirit.
Coach Parking::
Coaches may park and wait in Herbert Walker Avenue.
Drop off point: The dedicated coach drop off point is in Castle Way. Coaches will travel south down Castle Way and drop passengers off in the bus stop opposite the Old Town Walls.
Pick up point: Coaches will travel north up Castle Way to pick up passengers on the opposite side of the drop off point.
Bus Driver`s voucher: We will give your driver one meal and 2 beverages free of charge.
Group vouchers for your passengers:
We normally sell vouchers at a price of 12 GBP for one meal, one beverage and some sweets.
We will offer the coach company to purchase group vouchers at a price of 6 GBP which you can then sell to your customers at 8GBP: the customers has savings and you can make an extra profit.
