Autumn at Dreamland Margate

This Autumn, Dreamland Margate guarantees all thrills and no chills with all day long screams at the family-friendly amusement park plus a host of live music headliners.

The iconic amusement park situated on the beautiful Kent coast is open every weekend throughout September and October with free admission for all visitors. Providing all-day family fun this half term, the park will also be open every day for October half term from Sat 18th to Sun 26th (inc) October.

Dreamland’s ever-popular Dog Day returns on Sunday, 21 September with free entry and four-legged friends welcomed for a day out in the park. Amongst other dog-friendly activities, Dreamland Dog Day offers the opportunity to put your pup through its paces when you take part in agility courses and perhaps claim a prize at the dog show. There are also free film screenings on the big screen and an array of dog-friendly gifts, treats and accessories from the stall holders.

This Autumn, Dreamland also continues to host a number of headlining music acts in the Hall By The Sea and Ballroom. Acts include Richard Hawley (3 Oct Sold Out), The Enemy (11 Oct) and Margate Rock Festival (25 Oct) plus the very best of tributes in the form of Fell Out Boy & The Black Charade (17 Oct) and Manchester in the Area (1 Nov).

James Penfold, Commercial Director at Dreamland Margate said: “Following a sizzling summer of endless fun in the amusement park and a bumper season of incredible music acts, autumn at Dreamland remains packed full of family fun, special events and unmissable entertainment”

An amusement park first opened on the site of Dreamland back in 1880. 145 years later, the lineup for 2025 includes the giant Big Wheel, Pirate Ship, Dodgems and Rock ‘N’ Roller roller coaster, amongst many other family-friendly attractions. New for 2025, Wild River sees the return of a classic Log Flume attraction to the iconic park as crystal clear water cascades down two high-thrill drops taking riders on a 30 foot hump-back plunge and 50 foot straight drop into waves of water soaked family fun.

Park goers can enjoy the delights of the retro Roller Disco, the popular arcade and amusements plus food and drink, provided by the renowned street food aficionados, KERB in collaboration with LevyUK & Ireland. This autumn, visitors can enjoy treats like loaded hot chocolates and pumpkin spiced coffees.

All-day wristbands can be purchased for endless access to the park’s rides – a Mega Ride Wristband, covering all of the rides in the park, is priced at £24.99 and Tiny Tots Wristbands, covering certain smaller rides, is priced at £12.99 (T&Cs apply). What’s more, all ride wristbands will be half price in October! Standard Ride Tokens are £3 each or a bundle of 20 can be purchased for £40. Each ride is 1 token.

In the Roller Room, a series of incredible new Free Roam VR Games will be available for the very first time at the park. Ideal for friends and families, games are priced at £15 per person (min 2 people) and can be booked in advance online via the Dreamland website.
