25 Years of Group Travel for Steve Reed Tourism

Tour planners around the UK are being invited to check their diaries and sign up for some great group travel events. Steve Reed Tourism Ltd, now in its 25th year of putting coach and tour operators and GTOS together with attractions, hotels and destinations, are involved in a series of high quality set pieces.

They’re firstly looking forward to seeing organisers at the South East England Groups Fair at Saint Hill Manor at East Grinstead in Sussex on Friday 1st March.
Next up, Steve Reed Tourism will be exhibiting at the British Tourism and Travel Show at the NEC in Birmingham on the 20th and 21st March. A seaside familiarisation commissioned by Daish’s Holidays takes place at the Esplanade Hotel in Scarborough 7-11 April and now fully subscribed, although there is a waiting list for any cancellations.

Next up is the Group Travel Day at the RHS Bridgewater Garden in Manchester on Monday 13th May. This is an opportunity for the travel trade to meet together and talk groups in a superb venue. Tour planners are invited to reserve their places at this valuable event.
And 27th June is the Group Leisure and Travel Awards at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.

Cornwall is next on the event schedule and an excellent GTO Showcase at the Barrowfield Hotel in Newquay in conjunction with Daish’s Holidays is now being planned for 3-7 September.
Following on, Milton Keynes for the Group Leisure and Travel Show on Thursday 3rd October is a key date for a long established event. And then the Midlands and the Coventry Transport Museum will be a great stop for tour buyers at the Group Travel Day scheduled for Monday 28th October. Again, GTOS are being invited to reserve their places for this outstanding event which is still TBC.

‘2024 is the 25th year of Steve Reed Tourism putting events together for the travel trade,’ says Steve Reed. ‘It’s amazing how time has flown since we started our business up north in Northumberland way back in 1999. Since then, we’ve made some great friends and met many top people right around the country. But we’re not finished yet!’

Any tour planners keen to attend any of these events please email steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk specifying which event[s] they may be interested in as well as the name of the organisation and delegates.
