As the holiday season approaches, Market Place is once again bringing the spirit of Christmas to life with a spectacular line-up of festive markets in Belfast, Leeds, Plymouth, Barnsley and Harrogate.
Each market is a vibrant celebration of festive tradition, offering an enticing mix of artisan stalls, international cuisine, and seasonal entertainment. Visitors can expect to discover handcrafted gifts, unique decorations, and culinary delights from across the globe — all served in beautifully themed surroundings that capture the essence of a traditional Christmas.
Indulge in a wide range of foodie favourites: think sizzling hog roasts, fluffy Dutch pancakes, and a tempting selection of cheeses, meats, and sweet treats. Winter-themed bars will serve up everything from traditional German beers to locally brewed favourites — all from exquisitely crafted chalets designed to enhance the festive experience.
Alongside international traders, you’ll find regional artisans showcasing handmade goods that reflect the culture and creativity of each host city. It’s a seasonal shopping experience that’s both global and proudly local.
Parties visiting each of our markets can organise tours on request in advance. We also offer a limited number of free, guided tours for coach parties of between ten and fifteen people on a first come first served basis. Lasting up to 45 minutes, the tours give a unique and entertaining insight into the world of Christmas Markets to enhance your tour group’s experience.
